Move Me
Move Me supports people living with a physical disability — permanent or temporary — as they work to preserve and improve mobility and independence.
It combines professional rehabilitation with specialized technology so that people can do more for themselves at home, at work and in their communities.
A physical disability — whether it follows an illness or accident, or is present from birth — can reduce a person's mobility. Without support, people may lose strength, develop discomfort, and become dependent on others for everyday tasks, affecting both them and their families.
Reduced movement makes everyday activities difficult.
Consistent, professional rehabilitation is hard to reach for many.
Without support, people rely on others for daily tasks, affecting quality of life.
Living with a disability — and limited access to rehabilitation — is a significant national challenge, and a real need in the community where Joy of Giving USA is based.
U.S. adults have a mobility disability — the most common type of disability.

We combine guided rehabilitation with specialized technology to support mobility and independence. The technology is a tool within the program — not the goal.
Reduced mobility, loss of strength and discomfort from a physical disability.
Guided rehabilitation exercises supported by electro-stimulation.
People with permanent or temporary physical disabilities.
Greater mobility, self-sufficiency and social participation.
Every program follows the same general, person-centered path — the clinical detail is tailored to each person by qualified professionals.
A person is referred or reaches out, and we gather their history and goals to see how the program can help.
Qualified professionals evaluate each person's condition and needs before any treatment begins.
A rehabilitation plan is designed around the person's specific situation and objectives.
The person attends structured therapy sessions, supported and adjusted by their care team.
Rehabilitation technology is applied as a tool within the plan — never as the goal in itself.
We track progress against each person's goals and adapt the plan as they improve.
The approach below is provided for professional and funder review. Care is always delivered and adapted by qualified professionals.
Move Me combines guided rehabilitation exercises with electro-stimulation, applied as a complementary tool under professional supervision.
The program is designed to support strength, functional mobility and independence, and to help reduce discomfort. Each plan is tailored to the person, and progress is reviewed against their individual goals.
Because Joy of Giving USA is building this program, we describe the outcomes it is designed to support — not results we claim to have already achieved in the U.S.
These are the indicators Joy of Giving USA is designed to track, so funders can understand how a grant would be evaluated.
Help more people with physical disabilities preserve mobility and independence through structured rehabilitation.
